Work from Home

Exhibtion & Workshop
Safehouse, London
2025

Work From Home is a collaborative exhibition by RCA alumni exploring the everyday labour that often goes unseen yet sustains our lives. The show brought together diverse perspectives on care and domestic work, highlighting the emotional, physical, and political dimensions of these invisible tasks through installations, objects, and interactive works.

As part of the exhibition, I presented my project, The Housekeeper, as a participatory workshop called Keeping House, running a session each day. Participants — from curious children to drop-ins — explored making, migration, emotion, and unseen labour by assembling and “performing” domestic tasks. The dollhouse proved to be a powerful tool for understanding roles, identity, and empathy, offering insights that went beyond my original expectations.
