The Travel Dreamscape was a visual strategy I created for Niyo, a fintech platform in India. The aim was to imagine “the Niyo way to travel”—a dreamlike, hassle-free journey powered by a single card. The concept drew from the idea that the anticipation of travel often feels more magical than the trip itself.

Playful, inviting, and slightly surreal, the world was illustrated in a flat, clean style inspired by children’s and comic books. Warm expressions and light, imaginative details gave it an approachable tone.

The palette was rooted in travel—blue for sky, beige for earth—layered with pops of vibrant colour. Every element was designed to sit softly behind the Niyo card, which remained the hero. Sometimes prominent, sometimes subtle, it anchored each composition as the quiet enabler of the journey.

Representation was central. Characters reflected India through clothing, features, and accessories, without clichés. From a backpacker to a businesswoman in transit to a family on a road trip, each figure embodied joy, curiosity, and ease, grounding the dreamscape in everyday realities.
